This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data to deliver the pages and ensure operational security (server log files):

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Vercel (Art. 28 GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and, additionally, on standard contractual clauses. Upon first access, the website shows visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Luxembourg the German version, and everyone else the English version. For this, Vercel only derives the country from your IP address. The country is not stored and not linked to other data; no cookie is set. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you the website in an appropriate language (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Your own language choice always takes precedence.

This website does not set cookies and does not use your browser's local storage, nor tracking, analytics, or advertising services. Therefore, there is no cookie banner.

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your information (such as name, contact details, and your request) to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to a contract or its initiation, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

We delete your information as soon as your request has been dealt with and no legal retention obligations (e.g., under commercial and tax law) prevent deletion.

You can describe a project to us using the enquiry form. We process the information you enter: your project, the desired scope and timeframe, as well as your name, company, and contact details. The information is only transmitted when you submit the form in the final step; before that, everything remains in your browser and is not stored.

The information is transmitted via our hosting provider Vercel to our email inbox (anfragen@brussobaum.de). We delete the information if no contract is concluded, at the latest after six months; if a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods apply.

If you apply to us, we process your application documents to decide on employment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG). Only those involved in the decision-making process will see your documents.

If no employment comes about, we delete your documents six months after the rejection, unless you have consented to longer storage for future positions.

Some films on this website are stored on YouTube. Before you click on such a film, we only show a preview image from our own server; no connection to YouTube is established. Only with your click is the film loaded in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Your browser then transmits data such as your IP address to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
